Il mix tra una location esclusiva con tratti nobiliari e il fascino di una dimora ricca di storia e l’incantevole giardino rendono la villa un luogo unico e romantico ideale per festeggiare il matrimonio di Mariagiovanna e Riccardo.

Ogni volta che torno in questo luogo ho sempre a disposizione una grande varietà di ambienti: dalle prestigiose sale interne e un cortile nobiliare, alle scenografie naturali che offrono i giardini… Ma il pezzo forte lo incontriamo scendendo le gradinate dalla terrazza sul Naviglio Grande, dove vi è il pontile persino l’attracco delle barche! L’insieme rende il tutto una cornice perfetta per un matrimonio unico nel suo genere, ma anche un luogo ricco di spunti per i miei servizi fotografici sempre diversi e unici. Proprio qui, a Villa Gaia Gandini feci il mio primo matrimonio da fotografo professionista. È proprio vero… La prima volta non si scorda mai!

The mix of an exclusive location with noble traits and the charm of a mansion rich in history and the enchanting garden make the villa a unique and romantic venue ideal for celebrating Mariagiovanna and Riccardo’s wedding.

Whenever I return to this place, I always have a wide variety of settings at my disposal: from the prestigious indoor halls and a noble courtyard, to the natural settings offered by the gardens… But we encounter the highlight as we descend the steps from the terrace on the Naviglio Grande, where there is the pier even docking boats! The whole makes a perfect setting for a unique wedding, but also a place full of ideas for my always different and unique photo shoots. Right here at Villa Gaia Gandini I did my first wedding as a professional photographer. It is really true. You never forget the first time!

Complicità è la parola che caratterizza il matrimonio di Claudia e Daniele. Lo si percepisce dagli scatti. Ed è anche ciò che si è instaurato tra noi e gli sposi. Claudia e Daniele ci avevano già visti, conoscevano già i nostri lavori da alcuni matrimoni precedenti di alcuni loro amici e anche loro ci hanno scelti come fotografi per le loro nozze. Una volta arrivati nel nostro studio era come se ci conoscessimo già, ci siamo subito trovati bene e siamo entrati in sintonia.

Le nozze si sono celebrate nella basilica di San Giorgio a Limbiate, a seguire il ricevimento in uno splendido relais in Franciacorta. Per ricordare il loro giorno più importante hanno scelto di raccogliere le foto in un album stampato in fine art, la cui carta pregiata e gli inchiostri specifici ne garantiscono un’altissima qualità e duratura nel tempo.

Complicity is the word that characterizes Claudia and Daniel’s wedding. You can feel it from the shots. And it is also what was established between us and the bride and groom. Claudia and Daniele had already seen us, they already knew our work from some of their friends’ previous weddings, and they too chose us as their wedding photographers. Once they arrived at our studio it was as if we already knew each other, we immediately hit it off.

The wedding was celebrated in the basilica of San Giorgio in Limbiate, followed by the reception in a beautiful relais in Franciacorta. To remember their most important day, they chose to collect the photos in a fine art printed album, whose fine paper and specific inks ensure their very high quality and durability.

Una cascina lombarda del ‘700, giardini di rose, romantici gazebo, grandi vetrate e un giardino magnifico… Il connubio perfetto per un matrimonio d’altri tempi. D’altri tempi proprio come i protagonisti della cerimonia: Enrico e Valerio, due ragazzi dai modi estremamente educati e gentili. Ad accompagnarli nel giorno del grande sì c’erano due paggetti d’onore del tutto inaspettati, i loro due splendidi barboncini! Chi se non loro poteva portare le fedi all’altare? Due fedelissimi compagni di vita, talmente importanti che sono raffigurati persino sulla torta nuziale. Che dolcezza!

Difficile non farsi rapire dalla magia del patio di un antico fienile riadattato per i festeggiamenti. Il tutto incorniciato da una magnifica vista dell’immenso giardino della villa. Spesso le cose apparentemente più semplici, sono le più belle.

An 18th-century Lombard farmhouse, rose gardens, romantic gazebos, large windows and a magnificent garden… The perfect combination for a wedding from another time. From another time just like the protagonists of the ceremony: Enrico and Valerio, two guys with extremely polite and kind manners. Accompanying them on their big yes day were two totally unexpected pageboys of honor, their two gorgeous poodles! Who but them could have carried the rings down the aisle? Two faithful life companions, so important that they are even depicted on the wedding cake. How sweet!

It’s hard not to be enraptured by the magic of the patio of an old barn repurposed for the celebration. All framed by a magnificent view of the villa’s immense garden. Often the seemingly simplest things are the most beautiful.

The organization of the entire wedding by Ornella Pasqualetto Cattlin Events was excellent.

Conoscete il modo di dire “Sposa bagnata, sposa fortunata”? Si tratta di un antico proverbio contadino che augura buona fortuna ai novelli sposi. Probabilmente è stato inventato per rassicurare i giovani sposi… In pochi vorrebbero celebrare le nozze in una giornata piovosa. Certamente lo sanno bene Bibiana ed Elia: un forte acquazzone ha colto tutti alla sprovvista. Ma per fortuna le tempistiche sono state dalla nostra parte, il pranzo era quasi giunto al termine. Insomma, è stato soltanto un piccolo contrattempo che ha divertito tutti.

A compensare il maltempo ci pensa l’affascinante location, Villa Nessi, situata in un piccolo borgo arroccato sul lago di Como dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato. Inutile specificare che l’affaccio sul lago lascia senza fiato. L’impareggiabile vista lascia libero sfogo all’immaginario di chi lo osserva. Insomma una location davvero esclusiva che si presta benissimo agli scatti nuziali.

Una curiosità? Gli sposi hanno tenuto per cinque anni il biglietto da visita del nostro studio prima di chiamarci e decidere la data de grande giorno… Un vero onore per noi!

Are you familiar with the saying “Wet bride, lucky bride”? It is an ancient peasant proverb that wishes good luck to newlyweds. It was probably invented to reassure young newlyweds–few would want to celebrate their wedding on a rainy day. Certainly Bibiana and Elijah know this well: a heavy downpour caught everyone off guard. But fortunately, timing was on our side; lunch was almost over. In short, it was just a minor setback that amused everyone.

Making up for the bad weather was the charming location, Villa Nessi, situated in a small village perched on Lake Como where time seems to stand still. Needless to specify, the view of the lake leaves one breathless. The unparalleled view gives free rein to the imagination of the beholder. In short, a truly exclusive location that lends itself well to wedding shots.

A curiosity? The bride and groom kept our studio’s business card for five years before calling us and deciding on the date of the big day…. A real honor for us!

Le foto in posa non appartengono allo stile di Alice e Michele. Loro preferiscono quelle spontanee e naturali. Li abbiamo accontentati nel giorno del loro matrimonio.

Tra di noi durante il primo incontro in studio è scattata subito una forte empatia, che ci ha permesso di capire e accogliere i loro desideri. Vogliono descriverci così: “Alter Ego Sposi ci ha colpiti fin dal primo incontro nel loro studio. Eccentrici ma garbati e molto professionali. Non amiamo le foto in posa e loro ci ha assicurato che ne avremmo fatte pochissime: Sergio ed Enrico hanno immortalato tutti i momenti della nostra giornata senza farsi notare. Le foto sono tutte spontanee, ricche di emozioni e ritraggono tutti i nostri ospiti. Il loro stile e approccio ci è piaciuto talmente tanto che abbiamo regalato un piccolo shooting ai nostri testimoni nel suo studio: loro si sono divertiti e ora hanno delle bellissime foto da appendere a casa”.

A strong empathy was immediately snapped between us during the first meeting in the studio, which allowed us to understand and accommodate their wishes. They would like to describe us this way, “Alter Ego Sposi impressed us from the first meeting in their studio. Quirky but polite and very professional. We don’t like posed photos and they assured us that we would take very few: Sergio and Enrico captured all the moments of our day without standing out. The photos are all spontaneous, full of emotion and portray all our guests. We liked their style and approach so much that we gave a small shoot to our groomsmen in his studio: they enjoyed it and now have beautiful photos to hang at home.”

Una tradizione da rispettare si sa, è l’usanza di non incontrarsi con la dolce metà nei momenti precedenti il proprio matrimonio. Caterina e Andrea, nonostante la loro convivenza e la scelta di prepararsi entrambi nella loro casa, si sono organizzati in modo da riuscire a non vedersi durante i preparativi.

Coppia fantastica, cerimonia ricca di emozioni e pianti… Insomma, tutto è andato come qualsiasi coppia di sposi spererebbe, ma la cosa che mi ha più sorpreso del matrimonio è stata la scelta dei segnaposto per gli invitati: è importante utilizzare un tableau mariage originale e visivamente d’impatto per le nozze e scegliere chi sarà seduto con chi non è proprio facile… Ma gli sposi hanno sorpreso tutti assegnando il posto con una fotografia d’infanzia di ogni singolo invitato! Non è stato facile per gli ospiti riconoscersi per trovare il proprio tavolo, ma l’idea di aggiungere anche l’ironia è stata la ciliegina sulla torta di un matrimonio da favola.

A tradition to be respected is known to be the custom of not meeting with one’s better half in the moments leading up to one’s wedding. Catherine and Andrew, in spite of living together and both choosing to get ready in their own home, organized themselves in such a way that they managed not to see each other during the preparations.

Great couple, ceremony full of emotions and crying…. In short, everything went as any married couple would hope, but the thing that surprised me most about the wedding was the choice of place cards for the guests.It is important to use an original and visually impactful tableau mariage for the wedding, and choosing who will be seated with whom is not exactly easy… But the bride and groom surprised everyone by assigning the place with a childhood photograph of every single guest! It was not easy for guests to recognize each other to find their own table, but the idea of adding irony as well was the icing on the cake of a fairytale wedding.

Eleganza è la parola principe del matrimonio di Elisa e Alessandro. Hanno coronato il loro sogno con un rito civile celebrato nella meravigliosa cornice di Villa Anna a Magnago. Ci vorrebbe un libro per descrivere ogni fase di questo matrimonio ma… Certi aspetti è bello che rimangano custoditi come un segreto. Quello che possiamo svelarvi è l’aspetto estremamente elegante di questo matrimonio. Questa giovane coppia, bisogna dirlo, si completa alla perfezione. Alessandro è frizzante ed energico. Elisa, amante del bello, attenta ai dettagli.

La location regalava un’atmosfera sublime ma la parte meravigliosa erano gli sposi. Niente è stato lasciato al caso. Ecco cosa fa di un matrimonio un evento speciale e memorabile.

Elegance is the main word of Elisa and Alessandro’s wedding. They crowned their dream with a civil ceremony celebrated in the beautiful setting of Villa Anna in Magnago. It would take a book to describe every step of this wedding but… Some aspects are best kept as a secret. What we can reveal is the extremely elegant aspect of this wedding. This young couple, it must be said, complement each other perfectly. Alexander is bubbly and energetic. Elisa, a lover of beauty, attentive to details.

The location gave a sublime atmosphere but the wonderful part was the bride and groom. Nothing was left to chance. This is what makes a wedding a special and memorable event.

Per rimanere in tema storico eccoci al Castello di Cernusco Lombardone, una piacevolissima sorpresa per noi dello staff e per gli ospiti. Il Castello è senza dubbio una location particolare, dominata dai resti di due torri antiche probabilmente risalenti agli albori del secondo millennio, mentre la maggior parte della costruzione è di origine medioevale. Grazie al connubio tra estetica, funzionalità e storia, si offre come location incantevole per il matrimonio di Teresa ed Andrea.

L’interno è ricco di magnifiche camere e soggiorni antichi con mattoni a vista. All’’esterno invece un prato verdissimo fa da cornice al Castello. Proprio lì immersi nella natura si è tenuta l’intera cerimonia: un sole splendente brillava nel cielo, per l’occasione i due sposi hanno pensato di riparare gli invitati dal caldo estivo con dei simpatici cappelli di tela blu.

Caratteristico della location è anche il portichetto con archi a tutto sesto e colonne in pietra, capace di trasportarti in un luogo magico, senza tempo. Tocco finale perfetto per un set fotografico un romanticissimo ponticello in legno, dove noi fotografi… Ci andiamo a nozze!

To stay with the historical theme, here we are at the Castle of Cernusco Lombardone, a very pleasant surprise for us staff and guests. The Castle is undoubtedly a special location, dominated by the remains of two ancient towers probably dating back to the dawn of the second millennium, while most of the construction is medieval in origin. Thanks to the combination of aesthetics, functionality and history, it offers itself as an enchanting location for Teresa and Andrea’s wedding.

The interior is filled with magnificent rooms and antique living rooms with exposed brick. Outside, on the other hand, a verdant lawn frames the castle. It was there immersed in nature that the entire ceremony was held: a bright sun shone in the sky, and for the occasion the newlyweds thought of sheltering their guests from the summer heat with cute blue cloth hats.

Also characteristic of the location is the small porch with round arches and stone columns, capable of transporting you to a magical, timeless place. Perfect finishing touch for a photo shoot a very romantic little wooden bridge, where we photographers…. We like this!

Chi non sogna di sposarsi su una spiaggia a piedi scalzi circondati solo dalle persone più care e dal suono delle onde? Per Helena e Andrus è stato così. Sono arrivati direttamente dall’Estonia per celebrare il loro matrimonio nella famosissima spiaggia di Forte dei Marmi: “Twiga”. Ad accompagnare gli sposi all’altare solo i genitori, le loro tre bellissime bambine e i quattro testimoni.

Per organizzare un matrimonio così speciale hanno chiamato Elen Lang, wedding planner specializzata in matrimoni per stranieri. Un matrimonio molto intimo con un’atmosfera magica da film: servizio fotografico passeggiando sulla spiaggia di Forte dei Marmi, cerimonia in riva al mare con un tramonto mozzafiato e per finire una cena sotto una tenda bianca dei bagni “Twiga”. Un matrimonio più emozionante e romantico di così non si poteva immaginare.

Who doesn’t dream of getting married on a barefoot beach surrounded only by loved ones and the sound of the waves? For Helena and Andrus it was like that. They arrived directly from Estonia to celebrate their wedding at the world-famous Forte dei Marmi beach, “Twiga.” Accompanying the bride and groom to the altar were only their parents, their three beautiful little girls and four witnesses.

To organize such a special wedding they called Elen Lang, a wedding planner specializing in weddings for foreigners. A very intimate wedding with a magical movie atmosphere: photo shoot walking on the beach of Forte dei Marmi, ceremony by the sea with a breathtaking sunset and to finish a dinner under a white tent of “Twiga” baths. A more exciting and romantic wedding could not have been imagined.

Come si può passare da una data rimandata (causa pandemia nel 2020) ad uno splendido matrimonio nella petite Versailles italienne? Ebbene sì, Gilda e Giuseppe, insieme alle wedding planners Donatella e Angela e al loro staff di New Team Banqueting, sono riusciti a riorganizzare un meraviglioso, inaspettato matrimonio con tanto di spettacolo con trampolieri, costumi e giochi di luce.

Ma il tutto non sarebbe stato possibile senza di lei, la Reggia di Versailles italiana, Villa Arconati. Storica villa della campagna milanese, con affreschi, stanze meravigliose, ed una statua antichissima assolutamente da vedere. Incredibile come una splendida location e un team di professionisti, possano creare non solo uno splendido matrimonio, ma un vero e proprio viaggio nel tempo. Poco importa se sei a pochi km da Milano… La verità è che il mondo che abitiamo è traboccante di meraviglie, vicine e lontane, tutte da scoprire.

How can one go from a postponed date (due to pandemic in 2020) to a splendid wedding in the petite Versailles italienne? Well yes, Gilda and Giuseppe, together with wedding planners Donatella and Angela and their staff at New Team Banqueting, managed to rearrange a wonderful, unexpected wedding complete with a show with stilt-walkers, costumes and light games.

But the whole thing would not have been possible without her, the Italian Palace of Versailles, Villa Arconati. Historic villa in the Milanese countryside, with frescoes, wonderful rooms, and a very old statue that is absolutely a must-see. Amazing how a beautiful location and a team of professionals, can create not only a beautiful wedding, but a real journey through time. It matters little if you are only a few miles from Milan…. The truth is that the world we inhabit is overflowing with wonders, near and far, all waiting to be discovered.
